Finally its here, the App Store has launched! To use it, download iTunes 7.7 and once you have installed or upgraded it you will be able to access the App Store at this link. You can download the Apps on iTunes now, but we all will have to wait for the iPhone 2.0 software update release to actually use them, which is supposed to happen either today or tomorrow morning!

Right now there are 27 pages of applications available, 7 pages are FREE Apps. The following Apps where the ones that where the most intriguing for me at the moment:

Facebook – duh, got to check it out – maybe it will give me a reason to get social on the web.

Pandora Radio – If you ever get used to this, you never go back. I found so many new artists that I would never had come along through this great tool.

The Remote, reQall and YPmobile – well, just would like to check it out and see if it is worth my memory usage.

This application is similar to my own project iRapp ( the PC to Mac apps access ), well the usability concept since Virtualbox is not a remote access tool but a Linux app that lets you run Windows applications within their own windows. Check out the instructions of how to make it work here.
